Hope's Frybread in Mesa Arizona for Indigenous Cuisine!

Frybread and Pork Pozole with Green Chile

Original Date: Jan. 19, 2023

This delicious place was recommended by local natives and i made it my mission to visit Hope (left) and husband Aaron Peshlakai just opened 3 months ago and I had the change enjoy some quality frybread and meet these two friendly souls. A nice drive to Mesa and we'll worth the trip.

I ordered the Pork Pozole with Green Chile with Frybread and Honey. This is what it's like sharing culture and eating good traditional food. Pozole made with hominy (corn) green chile spices (comfortable heat) and chunks of shredded tender braised pork. The soup is very hearty and you can't forget the warm sweet and fluffy fry bread with crispy edges of goodness. Hope makes everything by hand and it's very much that native soul cooking feel and it's nothing but friendly faces!
